I know for certain that it won't be the any of the last Nigella ones as they made me want to throw something at the TV. Delia I love but can't bear how prescriptive she is at times. Again, I love Jamie but he's all a bit bloke-ish and as for Gordon Ramsay, well eye candy but that's about it.
So what does that leave me ? I can't believe I am even admitting this on a food blog. I will be cast out into the wilderness for ever but my favourite cookery (and I use this very loosely) programme has to be Come Dine With Me.
I don't know why I love this programme so much. Is it the nosey part of me that loves it so much, or is it just the opportunity to chuckle at the ineptitude of some of the "chefs" ? I must admit to rather liking the voice over chap too, he does make me laugh. Having said that he did go down a little in my estimation recently when I found out he also did a voice over for CBeebies. It is one of those programmes that I'd love to do but never would. I do like to think I could do better than some though ! For my menu idea see this previous post, I'd just have to change to a proper starter.
Now I've made this confession I'm off to hide my face in shame while I watch the BB winners CDWM !!
Here is my admission as a foodie/food lover. I have never ever seen an episode of Come Dine With Me. I don't even really know what it's about/how it works.
